Andrea Kozek
Digital Marketing Strategist

MGIC

Andrea Kozek is a Digital Marketing Program Strategist at MGIC and works within the company to develop and execute the company’s digital and social media marketing strategies. She has worked with global organizations to launch and implement social media and digital marketing campaigns, designing playbooks, training programs and analytic tracking to measure success. Andrea has extensive digital training and education, including certifications from Google, Bing, Facebook and Acquisio.

She has more than 15 years of experience in integrated marketing, including working with field staff and customers on how to connect and communicate with their audiences.

A Michigan native, Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in professional communications, business marketing and global studies from Alverno College and resides in Milwaukee, Wisc.


 

Doug Duncan
Senior Vice President and Chief Economist
Fannie Mae

Douglas G. Duncan is Fannie Mae's senior vice president and chief economist. He is responsible for providing all forecasts and analyses on the economy, housing, and mortgage markets for Fannie Mae. Duncan also oversees corporate strategy and is responsible for strategic research regarding external factors and their potential impact on the company and the housing industry. He serves as the Chair of the Fannie Mae Corporate House Price Forecast Working Group.

Named one of Bloomberg / BusinessWeek's 50 Most Powerful People in Real Estate, Duncan is Fannie Mae's source for information and analyses on the external business and economic environment, the implications of changes in economic environment to the company's strategy and execution, and forecasting for housing activity, demographics, overall economic activity, and mortgage market activity.

Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Duncan was Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at the Mortgage Bankers Association. His experience also includes service as a LEGIS Fellow and staff member with the Committee on Banking, Finance, and Urban Affairs for Congressman Bill McCollum in the U.S. House of Representatives, and work on the Financial Institutions Project at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Duncan received his Ph. D. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University and his B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Economics from North Dakota State University.

David Motley, Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association, is President of Colonial Savings, F.A. and its divisions -- Colonial National Mortgage and CU Members Mortgage.

Colonial Savings, a federally chartered thrift institution headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, David has been an active member of MBA for more than two decades and has served in a variety of roles during that time including:

  • 6 years as a member of the Board of Directors
  • 8 years on MBA's Residential Board of governors, 2 as Chairman
  • 2017 Chairman of MBA's Diversity and Inclusion Committee.   
  • 2015 Co-Chair of the Servicing 21 Working Group, and more.  

Recognized for his service to the industry, David is a recipient of MBA's Andrew D. Woodard Distinguished Service.  Dedicated to grassroots advocacy, he has also been an active member of the Texas MBA (TMBA) since 1995, serving in several capacities as Secretary/Treasurer for the Board of Directors, Convention Chairman, and Board member from 1999 to 2005. In 2015 and 2016, David served as a member of the Community Bank Advisory Counsel for the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.   

David has a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, is a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking, and holds a Certified Mortgage Banker designation.  


 

Pat Sherlock

Pat Sherlock is President of QFS Sales Solutions. Pat is a veteran of mortgage banking and a former head of sales and secondary marketing. QFS focuses on helping mortgage banking sales organizations hire the right sales candidates including rookies by its proprietary platform of mortgage sales pre-hire and development assessments for originators and managers.

QFS also provides customize sales training programs for rookies; prospecting for originators and best practices for managers. Her programs deliver behavior change and increased sales results.

Michael Davenport

Michael Davenport is the President and Founder of TrilogySecurity, Inc., a cyber security consulting firm that provides various domestic and international organizations with technical cyber security risk assessment and management services.

Michael has more than 25+ years of experience as a cyber security professional in all facets of the field including penetration testing (ethical hacking), cyber risk assessment, forensics, social engineering, cyber security education, and web application security.  Michael holds several industry recognized certifications that includes the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), IARB Certified Penetration Tester, IARB Certified Computer Forensic Engineer, ISACA Certified Information Security Manager, and others. Additionally, Mr. Davenport regularly provides his local, remote, and international communities and customers with Security Awareness training and seminars in the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.


 

John C. Bommarito
General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

John C. Bommarito is currently General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for ATA National Title Group, LLC and its family of companies.  Prior to arriving at ATA, he was Associate State Counsel with LandAmerica Financial Group and before that, in-house counsel for another large Metro Detroit title agent.  He also has experience as an expert witness in disputes and litigation involving title insurance and real property.  Mr. Bommarito graduated Cum Laude from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School.  His undergraduate degree is from the University of Dayton in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and Certification in International Business. 

Professionally, Mr. Bommarito is: an active member of the State Bar of Michigan's Real Property Law Section; President of the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA); past-chair of the Oakland County Bar Association Real Estate Committee; Past President of the Italian American Bar Association; a member of the Macomb County Bar Association serving on its Real Estate Committee; and a member of the Macomb County Bar Foundation serving on its scholarship committee. Mr. Bommarito enjoys opportunities to speak with the: SBM Real Property Law Section, Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, Michigan Land Title Association, and Michigan ICLE events. He has been published in the MLTA "Examiner"; "Michigan Real Property Review”; ICLE practice materials; “LACHES” (OCBA) and “Bar Briefs” (MCBA).   Additionally, he is a recipient of the MLTA’s Robert J. Jay award; Crain’s General & In-House Counsel of the Year finalist; and the President’s Award from the Italian American Bar Association. 


 

Bill Cosgrove, CMB

Union Home Mortgage Company

Bill’s mortgage banking career began in 1986 as a residential loan officer. In 1994, Mr. Cosgrove joined Union Home Mortgage Corp. and in 1998 was named President. Mr. Cosgrove purchased and became 100% stockholder of the company in 1999. The company has grown from 58 million to over 1 billion dollars of loan production during Bill’s leadership of the company. Union Home has built from its roots in Cleveland to a nationally recognized growth company.

In 2007-2008 Mr. Cosgrove was President of the Ohio Mortgage Bankers Association. In 2008 & 2013 he earned the coveted Hodupp Award for his many contributions to the Ohio MBA. From 2008 to 2010, Bill was the National Chairman for MBA’s MORPAC Committee, raising 1.1 million dollars for industry activism.

In 2003 Mr. Cosgrove was inducted into the Bedford, Ohio High School Distinguished Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in Mortgage Banking. In 2004, he earned the coveted Certified Mortgage Banker designation (CMB). In 2011, Bill was awarded the National Mortgage Bankers Associations Burton C. Wood National Legislative Service Award for his superior legislative efforts representing the mortgage banking industry. Bill has served the National Mortgage Bankers Association on RESBOG, and Board of Directors.

In 2015, Bill served as MBA Chairman. Mr. Cosgrove has testified on behalf of the industry in Washington, D. C before the House Financial Services Sub Committee and Senate Banking Committee. He has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, New York Times, numerous trade publications, and local and national news networks. Bill is also a proud father of three children and a loving husband. His family is very important to him and he enjoys spending quality time with them amongst his active work schedule.
