As a lender, we are accustomed to hearing about many acronyms. This luncheon will cover many!!  Are you aware of changes to URLA? Did you know that the CFPB has a proposal to change how seasoned loan QM is processed? Do you know about Libor to SOFR - whatever that means?! If you have these questions, you should attend this fun luncheon! 

The luncheon will be at an outdoor pavilion at the South Lake Lansing Park in order to keep you as safe as possible!

Tickets are $20 per MMLA member/ $25 per non-member

Panera boxed lunch with bottled water is included in the cost.

There is a park entrance fee of $3.00 for Ingham county residence and $5.00 for outside residences.

Speaker

 Dan Sugg, CMB has spent over 26 years in the mortgage industry, filling every role from loan officer
to president and has led teams as large as 700. Dan started his career with GMAC Mortgage in
1997, and he has worked in both large banks and independent mortgage companies. Dan
currently serves as Chief Mortgage Lending Officer for Michigan First Credit Union. In this role,
Dan oversees origination, operations and servicing. Dan joined Michigan First Credit Union in
late 2016 and has led the purchase and integration of Michigan First Mortgage (a CUSO) into
Michigan First Mortgage, now a division of Michigan First Credit Union. Michigan First Credit
union is celebrating its 95rd year in the industry, has approximately 165,000 member and has
over 1.1 billion dollars in assets.

Dan has been very active in the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association including filling the
presidency role in 2007. Dan is also very active in the MBA serving as the co-chair for the 2019-
2020 CU network and attained his Certified Mortgage Banking designation (CMB) in 2009. He is
a lifelong Michigan resident and in his free time enjoys family, faith, fixing things, travel and
golf…yes in that order.
