Get Involved
Annual Lending Conference Committee
ChairPerson: Kate McDougall, Huntington Mortgage
Purpose: To organize the Annual Lending Conference each August, providing quality educational sessions and social activities for members and guests.
Goals

To achieve a successful conference which provides networking opportunities and quality educational sessions for all attendees.

To successfully solicit and procure sponsorship dollars, speakers and entertainment for the enjoyment of the attendees.
Membership and PR Committee
Chairperson: Allison Johnston, CMB - Success Mortgage Partners
Purpose: To promote and foster an understanding and appreciation for the real estate finance industry in the communities that we serve. Actively solicit and recruit new members and enhance member communications.
Goals
- Increase statewide membershipthrough ongoing solicitations and calling programs.
- Promote and supplement MMLA value-added services
- Achieve wider visibility for the association among consumers and real estate finance industry professionals
- Create ongoing efforts to enhance the use of website services for members
Education Committee
Education Consultant: Audrey Acquisti, MSource Training & Consulting, Inc.
Purpose: To evaluate industry practices, exchange ideas, and educate association members on any new or timely topics. Work with chapter committee liaisons to coordinate educational events around the state.
Goals

To organize and promote a seminar or speakers for seminars which cover the latest practices, trends, and key issues
To provide educational opportunities valuable to MMLA members
To increase the understanding of mortgage related issues
Independent Mortgage Professionals Committee
Chairperson: Julie Conley, Union Home MOrtgage
Purpose: To be a resource to the IMP community and foster awareness of the MMLA and it’s role in the Michigan lending industry.
Goals
- Increase statewide awareness about the MMLA
- Promote and supplement services of interest to the IMP
- Create ongoing efforts for outreach
- Be a legislative and regulatory resource
MId Michigan chapter
Purpose
To organize educational seminar session(s) which discuss the latest trends and issues in the mortgage origination arena. Also, plan and promote local social events and golf outings for the enjoyment of members in the Greater Lansing and MidMichigan Region.
Goals

To organize a seminar or speakers for an association educational day covering the latest trends and issues in the mortgage origination arena.

To provide association members with current information regarding mortgage issues.

Keep area mortgage industry professionals connected through education and social events, including but not limited to luncheons, breakfast meetings, golf outing and holiday party.
Southeast Michigan Chapter
Purpose
To organize educational seminar session(s) which discuss the latest trends and issues in the mortgage origination arena. Also, plan and promote local social events and golf outings for the enjoyment of members in the Metro-Detroit area.
Goals

To organize a seminar or speakers for an association educational day covering the latest trends and issues in the mortgage origination arena.

West Michigan Chapter
Purpose
To organize educational seminar session(s) which discuss the latest trends and issues in the mortgage origination arena. Also, plan and promote local social events and golf outings for the enjoyment of members in the greater Grand Rapids and Western Michigan areas.
